We have a particular focus supporting our clientele with our large spacious studio most suited for beginners to medium levels of experience & intensity. We list each class as level 1, 2 and 3. Level 1 being simplest and Level 3 stronger.

I’ve been attending yoga classes on and off since 1973 and have always loved yoga. However, what I didn’t realise is how much glamour there is in the yoga world and how much I had bought into this. It always seemed to be about who could tie themselves in the best knot and I got tangled up in this race. I witnessed many injuries in the yoga classes and working as a Bowen therapist and was also injured myself. Patti’s classes feel safe and also very healing too, where this wonderful ancient tool for growth has been brought into the modern western world with a beautiful simplicity in a very new and evolved way.

When I first started doing yoga I had upper back pain, severe lower back pain and plantar fasciitis in my left foot. At that time I was attending a chiropractor, a physiotherapist and reflexologist, and although the exercises they gave me to do helped a little bit, I was still in a lot of pain. I refused to take any medication other then natural supplements. I noticed a difference as soon as I started yoga classes, particularly in my back. I seemed to get a bit better each week; my back was getting stronger again. I found the more classes I did each week, the stronger I got. Now, after four months, I have no back pain and very little pain in my foot. I can lift up my little two year old grandson without being in agony. I also feel happier, stronger and have more energy than I have in years. My husband and family are delighted because I'm back to being my old self again. They can see the change in me because I don't need to keep going for a lie down every few hours just to alleviate the pain. I thoroughly enjoy my yoga classes, I like the variety in the poses and the length of the class. It's just perfect for me. Thank you for all your help.

We use a range of modalities in our programs such as yoga, meditation, therapeutic massage and naturopathy which are all designed towards supporting a healthy workplace culture. Refresh offers levels 1,2 & 3 yoga classes (gentle to strong), secular mindful meditation classes & active refresh exercise classes, including office based yoga and stretching, Our extras package includes therapeutic head, neck and shoulder massage, naturopathic consultations, coaching & educational health talks.

Groove is a really simple, fun and easy dance experience that anyone can do. We will dance to a whole range of music, different genres and styles, where you are shown some simple steps, but you get to add your UNIQUE style and personality. You will experience everything from slow, delicious, meditative grooves to heart thumping and strength building cardio beats. It is the perfect recipe to nurture your body, mind, heart and soul. You don't need any dance experience as Groove is open to everyone, all ages and all abilities. If you can move, you can Groove! You literally can't get it wrong!

During an initial consultation we explore what it is that you would like to achieve, and where you are currently at with your health and wellbeing. We go through an in-depth exploration of what systems are involved to get a holistic perspective of what is actually going on and what is the best step forward. Family history, personal health history, current medications, and dietary and lifestyle factors are explored. I will review any recent pathology tests. Some physical examinations may be carried out such as blood pressure, nail analysis, and/or iridology. I will then present you with a treatment plan that will be discussed with you. Treatment plans can include dietary and/or lifestyle recommendations, nutritional supplementation, flower essences, or a herbal prescription depending on the needs and abilities of each individual client.
During a follow up consultation we see how you have been going since your initial consultation. Extra support or changes to the treatment plan will be made as necessary. Any new developments or health concerns can be explored during this time.
Acute consultations are available for cases where an in-depth analysis is not needed. This includes things such as gastroenteritis, colds, flu, and hayfever. Any complex or multi-faceted cases will need to book in for an initial or follow up consultation. You can also book this if you are wanting a script refill.

Flower essences are vibrational medicines that offer energetic support on an emotional and mental level. Each flower essence embodies both the lower and higher vibration of particular thoughts, feelings and behaviours. Acting as a catalyst, the idea is to highlight the dysfunction (lower vibration) whilst emphasising the ideal outcome (highest vibration) to move towards. Flower essences can be part of a consultation or as a stand alone reading. I also have a weekly Meditation class working with flower essences.

Every week I facilitate a meditation class working with flower essences. Each month there will be a different focus in which the flower essences will be created specifically for. For example, the focus may be self-esteem, calm assurance, self-love and acceptance, expanding into higher awareness and so forth. Flower essences are an additional cost to the class ($9.95 for 15ml or $14.95 for 25ml). You will be able to take them home and continue to work with them in your own time.

Group mentoring to support self esteem and being more aware of our energy & taking good care of ourselves. We focus on essential foundations and take a closer look at the whole of ourselves- physical, emotional, mental and spiritual.
We use energetic hygiene as a foundational tool in these classes.
How would you expect to feel if you carried around years’ worth of accumulated debris and toxins? Probably pretty terrible.
Without our being aware of it our auric field (which consists of the physical body, emotional body, mental body and spiritual body) collects and stores all kinds of things: mental debris, emotional residue, negative energy, pollutants, accumulations of old energy that has never been cleared, energy from others and stagnant energy etc. Just as we shower and bathe our physical bodies to keep them clean, so we need to do the same for our energetic bodies. It is essential that we regularly cleanse and clear our system.

This is a 350 + hour personalised yoga teacher training. It is designed to be relevant to modern day life and to meet and embrace modern day alchemy in the new spirit of yoga--synthesis. With this training you can teach accessible, holistic, practical and safe yoga. In addition to learning to teach yoga, this course has a unique focus on personal and spiritual development--helping build and strengthen our vital foundation as yoga teachers. The Sanskrit name for a yoga posture is "asana". It literally means a seat. Being comfortably seated in ourselves, in our own skin, underpins who we are as yoga teachers. This course encourages this prime relationship as the basis for a yoga teachers authentic sense of self and being in humility.

In 2009 I completed a Certificate IV in Life Coaching & Mentoring with the Global Coaching Academy (GCA). It was a year of training and practicum and it put me through my paces. I discovered I had almost unconscious tendencies to tell people what I thought they should do and or do it for them. I had to really pull back because really I don't know.
This behaviour of mine showed me two main things. I was not wanting people to create and mistake for themselves, and grow and experience and learn, to trust their innate knowing over time. To evolve. Secondly, I was not doing enough of that for myself. I was looking to be told what to do and not trust myself. Looking outside for validation. Stay too safe. While nothing is set in stone and sharing experience can be invalubale, and certain tools and practices I know work I can and do pass on. It was my underlying premise, my motives, really my funky self esteem, I needed to clear and refine.
I'm very grateful to Belinda, the owner and creator of the GCA and fellow students, for helping me see how I could so easily want to do the work for people and feel good about myself for that. The sessions I provide we set up to work for you. You drive the process and are accountable to you. I aim to do less and less. I do jump in with ideas at times, however its about your choices, your work and your learning and success.

In 1976 I started yoga classes in the city, on Irwin Street, at a school above Gilkenson's Dance Studio. At that time, it was one of a few places for yoga in Perth. A friend and I would jump in her brother's Holden each week after school and drive from Peppermint Grove with our thick padded mat rolls in the back. We loved it. I was fifteen. I had already learned meditation a couple of years earlier. Yoga and meditation have been a life long practise ( maybe longer :) and the value of yoga and meditation for wellbeing is as valuable today as ever. Perhaps more. Culturing calm and connected focus on the inner for outer wellbeing. I'm so grateful to now provide a place for others to jump in their cars ( or walk or cycle) to enjoy more connected, inner time too.
With 46 years practising, training, learning. teaching, ( making mistakes) coaching and mentoring I feel I have learned a great deal about these practises, as well as some leading edge tools that support integrated personal and spiritual growth. Refesh Yoga offers a place for holistic- physical, emotional, mental and spiritual and environmental well being. I invite you to explore and enjoy with us!

15 years ago after the youngest of my 3 children went off to kindy—I had always wanted to do yoga and I didn’t quite know what it was. It was something I thought I would like to do. It was quite different to what I expected. It wasn’t really a form of exercise. Over the last 15 years when I haven’t been practising yoga I knew I had to get back to it. I had to get back to it because I knew while I was practising I was better able to manage my life- less stress and worry. I just wanted to learn more because I wanted more of the benefits. Then of course you want to share with others people to get the same benefits. I enjoy being able to share the benefits of yoga for people on that same journey. Come along and enjoy a general yoga class, suitable for all levels including beginners. We focus on connecting the breath with movement while building strength and flexibility. All classes finish with a yoga nidra ( relaxation).

My name is Jiae Kim from Korea. I've been teaching yoga since 2013 and it's been always one of the best things I love to do. For me, yoga is like a vitamin. It brings vitality and liveness in my life. Also it helps me to find balance between body and mind. It would be wonderful if I could share my experiences and love of yoga with you. Come and practice with me, you will be always welcomed.
In my personal experience practising, I first felt my body was getting stronger and as my physical body was changing I felt my mind was stronger and calmer too. It is challenging sometimes, but I have the chance to reflect and learn about myself through the challenge and every time I come back to the mat I feel so grateful that I met yoga. It makes my mind quiet-moving with my breath. I feel like I really connect to my body.
